Scotty was my absolute favorite character. One of the really cool things about Doohan was how at peace he seemed with the whole Star Trek thing. He didn't fight it or make fun of it. He just lived the life that had fallen his way. Neat guy.
I agree with Mom there. I wasn't a huge Trekkie, but I always liked Scotty best. He was sort of the Everyman of the crew. I'm linking back to this with an intereting tidbit on the man behind Scotty.
