In an AA meeting yesterday, a guy who's been going through a whole lot of physical problems lately mentioned that he's still a work-in-progress.
Seems to me that this is the whole idea and philosophy behind recovery. When I cease to be a work-in-progress, I will find myself sitting on a barstool.
PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION !!

Yes, I'm a work in progress -- FOR ME. However, I'm perfect in terms of what God has done. I guess that for me it's a matter of learning to accept that I'm perfectly okay just as I am, but that I have the opportunity to make something more of me and be, therefore, of maximum service to others. It's that saying, "Who you are is God's gift to you; what you make of yourself is your gift to God."
Thanks for the topic!
And here I thought PNP stood for "Plug 'N' Play!" LOL!
