I suppose Sirreene quashed my comment too, its very sad, but we cant all be expected to know the circumstances of others traumas before being humorous. I have listened/seen many jokes around my own traumas. It doesnt state its a student...oooh, I'm stuck now! Help!
sirreene, pay close attention to what is written on this blog and you will see that Dave would never condone drinking in any way. Just take the picture for what it is.
Certainly no offense intended to anyone by using this picture. As an alcoholic recovering from 32+ years of abuse, this picture reminds me (necessarily) of many many nights of my own. We cannot ever forget the days of our drinking, lest we repeat them.
I think I was partnered with that guy a few years ago. I finally put him on the road, not that he could see it ... or drive on it ... or get a job by following it.

We are have responsibility for our own actions.
I dont think that drinkings that bad...You choose to drink nobody eles does for you...I think this picture is great.
